I was thinking I had to be a bug to walk this garden-then I saw the spider! Cool.
Yeh, Cool. What kind of spider that is small & has 2 red dots on it’s belly? I’ve seen them every day at different places. Webs everywhere.
Lovely iris, way to go macro! Frances
Hmm, do you think she lives there or was just dropping by for a visit? I see she is ready to invite the little bug into her parlor! Very good photos Dave!
Gail
Your photo perfectly illustrates one of my favorite quotes: Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain. – Henry David Thoreau
Great shots and beautiful flowers.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider…. Great shots Dave!
Dave, I clicked on this post expecting a tour of the garden. How cool, your photos were beautiful. Now how about that tour too 🙂
I like those close-up pictures that show things in miniature. Thanks everyone for your comments!
Gail,
I hope she lives there, but who knows what is in the mind of a spider? Make web, catch fly, eat, make web, catch fly, eat, make web…
Nancy,
That’s a great quote and perfectly fitting!
Melanie,
Sorry but the tour will come later. If you want you can tour the salvias!
