Our Floor Plan is a modified version of the Ansley Park Floor Plan from Southern Living. We purchase the rights to have it modified and had a draftsman take care of updating it to fit our family better. We decided to floor the great room upstairs to add a bonus room, adjusted a few walls downstairs, changed the laundry room a little, shifted the master bedroom closet a little and added a small amount of square footage to the keeping room. There won’t be a basement as our lot isn’t suitable for that so we changed the staircase area to become a “drop zone” or kids locker area. You’ll see more details of it all as we put it all together!

July 2022 Home Building Update
In this update I talk about the location of a water spigot for the garden as well as where the water line for the home will eventually need to go. One of the first steps was getting water service set up so we can hookup the water line up the hill for use in building.
