I planted two different types of sunflowers this year and I think both were duds. I see nothing, and the one I did see disappeared after a couple of days. I am not sure if the insects or rabbits got them!

Great photo, Dave! I didn't plant sunflowers this year. Drat.
The bees are seeming to enjoy the leeks that I let bloom so they'll go to seed, though. And borage. But I still should have planted sunflowers 🙂

I've always found sunflowers very easy to grow and its one of the few flowers I know of which produces a tasty treat. I have roased many sunflower seeds in my days. Thanks for the post:)
They sure do like that Sunflower. That looks like the type I planted this year, although none have sprouted. I'm hoping the heat forecasted will help move them along.
