A December Sunrise

To me it has always seemed that winter makes up for the lack of color in the skies of the sunrise.

What do you think? Are the colors of the sunrises and sunsets a substitute for the flowers and foliage of the spring, summer and fall?

  1. Indeed, a marvelous sunrise, Dave. My only quibble with your statement is that I haven't seen a sunrise or a sunset in days…I think the last sunny-ish day was last Friday so I'm getting a bit light deprived. I compensate by having lots of bright colours and light in my office, which helps a lot.

  2. Hi Dave! Great photo. I have to say, we haven't had a sunrise (or much sunshine) for a number of days, lately.

However, I think it's the Winter Birds that are the flower-substitutes these days! 🙂
