Even More Fall Color for the GBFCP!

Today we have three more submissions for the Garden Blogger Fall Color Project! Nancy in Canada, TC in Pennsylvania and Liisa in Vermont.

Take a road north to visit the wonderful fall colors in Nova Scotia with Nancy of Soliloquy. Canada is where the fall colors start their colorful journey to the south and we are lucky to have Nancy to show us her area’s best fall foliage. She brings us through rivers and streams and shows us limestone cliffs and hardwood forests on a trip to her parent’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. My personal favorite picture would be the one of the road underneath a canopy of color. The fall foliage is spectacular and the sunset at the end couldn’t be more fitting!

TC’s (the Write Gardener) fall colors come from Western Pennsylvania, one area of the country that I know has fantastic fall colors, afterall it is Steeler Country! His photos were taken within a mile of his home and are definitely worth a look. Scenery like that makes you want to stay outdoors all day!
Liisa in Vermont of the aptly named blog Liisa in Vermont has some really cool fall colors too. Vermont fall colors are well known across the country and you don’t want to miss a look at these! The rolling hills and glowing maples are perfect examples of fall. I should warn you that there is a little surprise at the “end” of the post that will definitely make you laugh.

  1. Dave, after viewing all those beautiful pictures, I am ready to go to the upper east coast all the way to Nova Scotia! We will get as far as the middle of Virginia next week so hopefully we will see some color other then through the lens of a camera. Well, I will probably be looking through a lens.. lol
