Fall 2024 Garden Tour

I find Garden Tours fun to put together. It’s an opportunity incessantly talk about plants, plans, and ideas and that is one of my favorite things to do! I put together a garden tour of our current garden on YouTube which you can watch down below. To summarize the year so far we moved in November of 2023 to our new house but have been getting the old house ready to sell since the beginning of the year.

We painted the house ourselves, added a backsplash, redid the deck, and generally cleaned everything we could. It took a long time to get to the point where it could be put on the market. All that time took away from gardening that I could have been doing on our 7.25 acre property. In the end all that work was worth it as we had a buyer within the first weekend of the home being listed. Then we closed the house in just over 2 weeks time. It was a whirlwind.

Now we are the owners of just 1 property and are more than happy to keep it that way for a while! The video tour was taken 10/14/2024 and was done just before frosts were predicted in the forecast. I wanted to show you the garden as it is today before the foliage and flowers begin to fade away.

I hope you enjoy it!
