Do you want to dig a little deeper into the science behind the magical fall colors we see each fall? Or maybe you just want to take a peak at the fall show of a Continus coggygria (Smoke Tree). Either way stop over and visit Joco in the UK at Joco Serious. Joco posted a very detailed and thorough explanation of the process. I definitely agree that Nature Needs no Paintbrush!

How interesting! I really do love the fall colors this time of year, the foliage is gorgeous!
Hi – I’ve posted a collage of autumn in my UK garden this morning. The top right hand picture is also of a smoke bush. I also have another which is showing the leaf change like Joco’s showing.
They’re saying it’s a vintage year for autumn colours this year.
Greetings form sunny England!
Hiya Dave,
You have done us all proud with your spot-lighting our posts.
I was wondering where my sudden surge of traffic was coming from 🙂
Just wish people would say a quick hello as well.
Hi Dave – see my post http://patientgardener.wordpress.com/2008/10/31/the-malverns-on-an-autumn-day/
