Has this ever happened to you? You cut a tomato open only to find…
it’s growing!
Our tomato we sliced open for dinner on Wednesday was sprouting new plants inside of itself. It was ripe and was still in very good shape. I guess the seeds were just ready to grow!
I’ve never run across it before — kind of freaky. 🙂
I have never seen that before. But who knows maybe I never noticed and sliced them on up and ate them, lol. 🙂
I’ve had that happen quite a few times. Were they grown in a hothouse or on the vine {so to speak}. Mine have been mostly in the winter time when I had purchased them from grocery.
I’ve heard of it before, but never seen it. Thanks for sharing.
