Irises! when you think of springtime, do you think of irises? Of course I’m sure you think of all kinds of flowering plants, bulbs, and trees but irises are distinct. They offer a variety of colors, of shapes, and sizes to decorate the spring garden. The irises in my garden have recently begun to color our gardens with their displays and here are a few of the more interesting ones that have bloomed so far.

They are beautiful Dave! I love them all but have issues with them as I can never ever get the colors in the right spot. That purple and yellow combo is a great combo!
Dave, I admit, the old german iris is my favorite~I wish it were a repeat bloomer. I love the lilac coloring and its sweet scent. Solar Flare is certainly a fancy ruffled beauty. gail
I love irises. I have several varieties in my garden, although they certainly haven't begun blooming just yet. I can hardly wait until they do.
I have one that I was told was a Spanish Iris. It is very light and delicate looking.
I have some like the lavender one. Don't know what it is either but love it.
