…before the daffodils bloom!
We are definitely behind last year’s blooms. The only daffodils I saw outside today were 1-2 inch leaves protruding from the ground. Anyone have a guess as to when the first daffodil in my garden will be blooming?

At least a month if they are just now poking out of the ground. All of my Narcissus are behind this year too. Husband and I spotted maybe 6 buds yesterday…..
We are at least a month behind here too. Last few years there had already been crocus open. They are barely up and the daffs are just showing, some not even up at all. Only Diane is right on time, and I think she is very cold.

Dave,
Guessing March 3rd for the first daffodil to open in your garden. Ours are not even up that far. The ones at Meg's house have been 4-5 inches for at least a month.
April 6th (our 19th wedding anniversary).
My first daffodil blooms in 2008 were 2 March, last year they were 26 February. Looking at mine and guestimating I'm going with 23 Feb for you!
The way the weather has been, I imagine we will see color only in April!
