A September Sky at Dawn

Here are some pictures of our sky yesterday morning September 11th 2008.

It was a beautiful morning that I spent (at least before 7:00 AM) potting up a couple demonstration plants for what else? A demonstration! I’ll be giving a demonstration at our local gardening club (Spring Hill, TN) about propagating plants from cuttings. I potted up a Veronica and a catmint for the demonstration and two ‘Husker Red’ Penstemon in pots for our front porch. I’ll share those with you in a couple days. Woohoo…discount plants! ‘Tis the season! (For discount plants not Christmas, although the local big box stores are already stocking for Christmas!)

I’ve been spending most of my time the last couple days preparing for it, so hopefully someone will enjoy it! I may blog about it on Saturday, I’d better remember the camera!

  1. Beautiful sky shot Dave! With all the ocean storms this season, we have seen some beautiful skies! I was admiring the big puffy white clouds along with the big scary dark clouds yesterday. We believe to be the Outskirts of scary Ike….

Good Luck at your Demo. I am sure everyone will enjoy your speaking on how to acquire free plants!
