The cold weather combined with morning clouds and the light of a new dawning day create a genuine tapestry of light.
Six minutes later (after scraping the ice off my wife’s car) the sky changed palettes to include more gold. Mother Nature’s paintings are ever changing which is probably why we appreciate them.

It was lovely this morning wasn’t it! It’s now partly cloudy with freezing weather on its way! Lovely images Dave! Gail
So beautiful Dave!
I love the golden speckled carpet. Is that for sale?
Gorgeous photos!
Just wanted to say that homemade bins for worm composting are the way to go. I have done this for many years, using the 1-2-3 box described in Mary Applehoff’s book “Worms Eat My Garbage”. Then one year I decided I wanted to try the fancy Can-O-Worms and proceeded to kill 2 batches of worms in it because it stayed too moist. Also have used the Rubbermaid system, but now I’m back to my homemade wooden box, which I really like best…and my worms do, too. 🙂
Beautiful sky touched by the hand of an artist!
Spectacular!
So pretty Dave, and what a good husband you are to scrape your wife’s car!

Lovely pictures of a winter sky. Mother Nature sure knows what to do with color.
I’ve always thought that looking up into a beautiful sky like that is akin to being under the dome of a great cathedral — and just as breathtaking. 🙂
Wowsers, that is one fine picture.
